Masraff Weighs In on Finance's New Agenda at CFO Summit 2026

Table of Contents

The Masraff team joined Turkey's leading finance leaders, CFOs, and business representatives at CFO Summit 2026.

Throughout the event, which focused on the future of finance management, artificial intelligence, decision-making speed, efficiency, growth, and the evolving role of the CFO were among the most discussed topics.

Masraff also shared its perspective on the future of finance operations during the event, and had the opportunity to discuss its recently announced Agentic Finance approach with industry representatives.

A New Topic on the CFO Agenda: Decision Velocity

One of the summit's standout sessions, titled "Artificial Intelligence, Decision Velocity and the Future CFO," highlighted the importance of finance teams becoming structures that not only generate data but also accelerate decision-making processes.

Today, finance teams at many organizations still spend a significant amount of time on data collection, verification, reconciliation, and control processes.

This slows down decision-making processes while also limiting the time CFOs can devote to strategic matters.

The discussions held throughout CFO Summit 2026 revealed that the finance function is increasingly being reshaped around visibility, agility, and operational efficiency.

The CFO's New Role

Another prominent theme at the event was the transformation of the CFO role.

Moving beyond cost control and reporting, CFOs are now taking on more active responsibility in areas such as capital allocation, growth strategies, efficiency, and corporate transformation.

This shift requires finance teams to be able to devote a greater share of their time to strategic decision-making mechanisms.

Masraff's Agentic Finance approach addresses exactly this point; by reducing repetitive operational processes, it aims to help finance teams focus on higher-value-add work.

"The most important common theme we saw throughout CFO Summit 2026 was that finance teams need to become not just more digital, but also more agile and more autonomous. One of the factors that will determine competitive advantage in the future of finance will be organizations' ability to increase their decision-making speed."

The Most Effective 50 CFO Awards Find Their Winners

We warmly congratulate all our business partners who have added value to their sectors with these achievements, as well as the finance leaders who received awards, and wish them continued success.

The Shift from Automation to Autonomy

The core message shared throughout the event was that finance teams don't just need to work faster — operations need to become more autonomous.

In line with this vision, the Agentic Finance approach we introduced aims to reduce operational burden, freeing up finance teams' time from data collection and control processes so it can be redirected toward decision-making.

The Card IQ, Spend IQ, Invoice IQ, Travel IQ, Token IQ, and Policy IQ capabilities developed as part of this approach provide artificial intelligence-powered decision and control mechanisms operating across different layers of finance operations.

Card IQ makes corporate card transactions more visible and controllable,

Spend IQ enables spend to be analyzed, categorized, and managed,

Invoice IQ verifies invoice data and speeds up transaction processes,

Travel IQ ensures travel processes are carried out in line with company policies and with greater control,

Token IQ manages artificial intelligence tool spend units securely and traceably,

Policy IQ supports the automatic enforcement of company policies and the instant detection of non-compliance.

Working together, these capabilities help finance operations become more proactive, more visible, and less dependent on manual intervention.

As a result, finance teams can move from a role that merely tracks completed transactions to a working model that monitors operations in real time, spots risks earlier, and stays focused on the organization's strategic goals.

A Shared Perspective on the Future of Finance

Bringing together 9 sessions, 25 speakers, and more than 650 participants from 250 different companies, CFO Summit 2026 was an important meeting point for seeing finance leaders' changing priorities and the areas organizations are focusing on as they prepare for the future.

The discussions, shaped around artificial intelligence, decision-making speed, efficiency, and the evolving role of finance, revealed a shared perspective on the future of the finance function.

Masraff will continue developing approaches that deliver visibility, control, and autonomy in finance operations, and sharing the new building blocks of this transformation with the industry.
