Manufacturing companies have a fundamentally different spend structure from other sectors. Producers, factories and industrial groups in Türkiye and the wider MENA region manage dozens of parallel expense streams at once: raw materials, indirect materials, consumables, maintenance and repair, freight, customs, energy and vendor invoices. In automotive supply, food, textile, chemical and machinery manufacturing, manufacturing expense management is not a single line item but an operation that runs simultaneously across multiple plants and multiple legal entities. Masraff digitises factory spend tracking, supplier budget management and industrial expense workflows end to end, holding everything from purchase request to payment approval in a single flow.

Request to PO

Purchase request to payment in one flow

The moment a raw material, consumable or maintenance request is raised, it routes to the correct approver. Multi-level approval is triggered automatically by amount and category; once approved, the matching supplier invoice drops into the pending pipeline.

Supplier budget

Supplier- and category-level budget tracking

Monthly and annual budget bars are refreshed in real time for every supplier and every category. Supplier-level variance is visible without waiting for month-end; procurement walks into negotiations with hard data.

Multi-plant

Multi-plant, multi-entity control

Each plant is a separate cost centre with its own approval matrix. For group companies that span multiple legal entities, cross-location comparison reports are generated automatically; central costs are allocated to plants by predefined ratios.

Capabilities

Featured Capabilities

  • Supplier budget tracking

OCR pulls line items from invoices; track budgets per supplier from PO request to payment.

  • Multi-plant operations

Cost center and approval matrix per facility. Cross-plant comparison reports generated automatically.

  • Manufacturing ERP integration

Out-of-the-box connections to SAP S/4HANA, Logo, Mikro, Netsis, and other manufacturing ERPs.

Supplier handling and OCR-based invoice capture

In manufacturing, the bulk of spend comes from supplier invoices. Masraff reads e-invoices and e-archive documents via QR code or OCR and converts them into expenses. Line-item detail, VAT rate, supplier tax number and amount are extracted automatically. Operators do not need to type data manually. For recurring invoices from the same supplier, category and account code suggestions are auto-filled by artificial intelligence capabilities. Procurement teams can run real-time supplier budget tracking without waiting for month-end closing.

Multi-plant and cost centre control

For companies running more than one production site, each plant is defined as a separate cost centre with its own approval matrix. Whether you operate multiple factories under one legal entity or multiple companies under separate entities, expenses land in the correct cost centre. Cross-location comparison reports are generated automatically: which plant has higher consumables, which site has growing maintenance cost, all on one screen. The Composite Split module distributes central expenses (such as head office services) to plants based on predefined ratios.

Purchase request to payment, end to end

In a manufacturing environment, buying a valve, a bearing or a batch of raw material runs through several stages: request, approval, order and invoice match. Masraff's request management module unifies the purchase request, multi-level approval chain, budget control and mobile approval in one flow. The operator or procurement specialist enters supplier name and line-item detail in the form; based on amount and category, the request is routed to the correct approver. When the budget limit is exceeded, it is escalated to the next manager. Once approval is complete, the system matches the request with the incoming supplier invoice.

Integration with manufacturing ERPs

Most manufacturing companies run SAP S/4HANA, Logo Tiger, Mikro or Netsis. Masraff offers ready-built connectors to all of them; the manufacturing chart of accounts, VAT input accounts and cost centre codes are pre-mapped. Non-deductible expense (KKEG) scenarios, especially vehicle costs and items without proper documents, are routed to the 689 accounts automatically. VAT withholding rates are defined by category. At month-end, accounting teams push approved expense entries to the ERP in one click; account mapping, FX rate and AR records are processed consistently.

Mobile approval for the shop floor

Manufacturing CFOs and plant managers are not behind a desk. They are on a site walk, on the line or visiting a supplier. The Masraff mobile app delivers a full approval experience on iOS and Android. Managers see the request, the attached invoice image and the live budget status on their phone, approving in one tap or writing a rejection reason. Two-factor authentication protects access. After approval, notifications go to the originating operator and to accounting; the cycle finishes in minutes, not hours.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to integrate Masraff with SAP S/4HANA?

A ready connector is available for SAP S/4HANA. The manufacturing chart of accounts, VAT input accounts and cost centre codes are pre-mapped; for a typical manufacturing group, integration setup is completed within 2-4 weeks depending on project scope. The same ready-built connector model applies to Logo Tiger, Mikro and Netsis.

We run multiple plants under different legal entities. Does Masraff support that structure?

Yes. Each plant is defined as a separate cost centre, and each legal entity gets its own company chart of accounts and base currency. Approval matrices can be differentiated per plant or per company. Cross-location and cross-entity comparison reports are generated automatically, and central costs are allocated by predefined ratios.

How does the purchase request (PR) to purchase order (PO) flow work?

The procurement specialist or operator enters supplier name, line-item detail, amount and category through the Request Management module. The request automatically flows into a multi-level approval chain by amount threshold and category. If the budget limit is exceeded, it escalates to the next manager. Once approved, the request closes with a reference number; the incoming supplier invoice is then matched against the request by amount, date and line item.

Can we see supplier budget variance in real time?

Yes. A monthly, quarterly and annual budget can be defined for every supplier and every category. Every approved expense and invoice updates the budget bars immediately; variance is visible without waiting for month-end. Notifications can be sent to procurement leadership and finance when a supplier's spend crosses a defined threshold.

Can plant managers approve from the shop floor on mobile?

Yes. The Masraff iOS and Android apps deliver a full approval experience. The manager sees the request detail, the attached invoice image and the live budget status on the phone, then approves in a single tap or writes a rejection reason. With two-factor authentication, delegation and push notifications, the cycle does not stop during a site walk.

Our manufacturing chart of accounts and KKEG scenarios are bespoke. How does Masraff map them?

During implementation, your manufacturing chart of accounts is mapped one-to-one to Masraff's account determination table: 7-series expense, 191 VAT and 320/195 AR account rules are defined by category and document type. KKEG (non-deductible expense) scenarios — the 30% non-deductible portion on vehicle costs, items without proper supporting documents and similar — are routed automatically to the 689 accounts. VAT withholding rates can be defined at category level.
